This example shows that it's possible to use an exclusive list of unbound widgets (that are not linked to resources) when using the XMLWorkspaceConfig driver. By default, all unbound widgets are always added the the UI.
In addition, it also demonstrates that it's possible to override the mappanel widget options inside a workspace using the mappaneloptions tag (see in config).
In this demo, we have 4 unbound widgets in the config : a toolbar, layertree, zoomslider and measuretool. The following workspaces (defined in the config) demonstrate different possibilities :
